24% SAP EWM performance improvement on existing SAP hardware and architecture
A consumer products business producing and selling dairy-based beverages, infant nutrition, cheese and desserts in many European countries, in Asia and in Africa via its own subsidiaries.
The Challenge
Our client, a Dutch multinational dairy cooperative, was facing a potential costly delay in their global roll-out of SAP Extended Warehouse Management due to spiralling performance issues degrading operational output to business-critical levels. Rocket were asked to help understand the root causes, perform a technical audit and if possible avoid the project delays.
The Solution
Rocket responded quickly with a very experienced SAP EWM team who carried out a rapid three stage review, i) technical & architecture review ii) process design review, iii) operational review. From this a number of technical quick wins, process and integration changes and longer term architectural advice was provided in a concise review report. Quick wins were in place in less than a fortnight allowing the roll-out to continue.
